2023-24 Adopted Budget Document
The 2023-24 Proposed Budget was presented to the Budget Committee on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 beginning at 6:00 pm. The Budget Committee held a Public Hearing to receive comments from the public regarding the expenditure of State Shared Revenues and the Proposed Budget.
The public meeting was held in person and virtually online. Written testimony could be submitted until 3:00 pm to the City Recorder on the date of the meeting in person, by email sent to cityrecorder@cottagegrove.org, or by using the online comment form found on the Agenda.
After receiving the Budget Message and reviewing the Proposed Budget the Committee adopted a resolution to approve the proposed budget, without changes, and recommending adoption to the City Council.
The City Council met on June 26, after hold the appropriate public hearings, and adjusting the proposed budget considering staff recommendations and public comment, adopted Resolution No. 2105, making appropriations, and imposing and categorizing Ad Valorem Taxes.
