Mayor & City Council Home

The City of Cottage Grove has seven elected officials; the Mayor and six City Councilors.  The Mayor is elected for a two-year term and the City Councilors are elected for four-year terms.  The Mayor and at least half of the Council positions are up for election every two years.  Four of the City Councilors must reside in the a specific ward when they are elected.  The remaining two Councilors are elected at large.
