Seeking Youth Advisory Council Members
Youth Advisory Council
School is back in session and it is that time of year again to recruit members for the Cottage Grove Youth Advisory Council(YAC). The YAC had a great year last year with the passage of their nitrous oxide legislation and opportunities to meet legislators, the Governor and Senator Wyden. Who knows what this year holds in store for the YAC. A number of long time members of the YAC graduated and are now off around the country at college. A few outstanding YAC members remain but more are needed to make another successful year.
Any youth in the community 7th through 12th grade age are invited to apply. Youth can be home schooled or attend charter or private schools or public schools - they just need to live within the South Lane School District. More information and applications are available at City Hall or visiting the YAC webpage.
