Free Trees
February 22, 29, & March 7 - 9:00 am to Noon
(while supplies last)
Location: Coiner Park
Mayor Jeffrey Gowing and the Urban Forestry Committee cordially invite residents of the City of Cottage Grove to come down on one of the next three Saturday mornings to receive a free tree. These trees are being given to residents to replace trees that were damaged during the Great Snowmageddon of 2019 or to those who just want a new tree.
The following tree species will be available in limited quantities:
Vine Maple
While Alder
Douglas Fir
Western Crabapple
Oregon White Oak
Cascara
Western Red Cedar
To receive a free tree you must show proof of residency within the City limits of Cottage Grove. One tree per residence.
Look for the “Tree Giveaway” banner at Coiner Park on Saturday the 22nd, 29th, or 7th and get your free tree.
