Past Elections March 13, 2012 Special Election Voters' Pamphlet

The City received a number of requests regarding information about the upcoming Special Election on March 13, 2012.  As a result, the City published a Cottage Grove Voters’ Pamphlet.  The Voters’ Pamphlet is similar to the type of publication that the State Elections Division produces for state elections.  Citizens were able to submit arguments favoring or opposing the measures.  The voters’ pamphlet will be mailed to every household within the City prior to receiving the ballots for the March 13, 2012 Special Election.

The printing of the arguments contained in the Voters' Pamphlet does not constitute an endorsement by the City of Cottage Grove, nor does the City of Cottage Grove warrant the accuracy or truth of any statements made in any of the arguments.

The City accepted typewritten arguments supporting or opposing any measure to be submitted to the voters on the March 13, 2012 ballot.  Arguments had to be submitted between January 13, 2012 and 5:00 pm, Friday, February 10, 2012 to be included in the Voters’ Pamphlet.  Submission information and packets are available at City Hall and the Library and for download below:
