Councilor Mike Fleck

Councilor Fleck has served on the City Council for four terms having been elected in 2002, 2008, 2014 and 2018. In these sixteen years, he served as a Ward 4 Councilor and an At Large Councilor. He was again elected to the City Council in November, 2022 and is currently serving as an At Large Councilor.

He serves on the City Council because he loves our community and wants to do his part in keeping it great. He believes that one of the many ways individuals can support our City is by serving on the City Council and it is his honor to serve the citizens in this capacity.

He has been involved in numerous non-profit groups and organizations and has attended the Ford Community Leadership Program twice and the Pacific Program. In addition, he has participated twice as a trainer for the Ford Community Leadership Program. 

Councilor Fleck worked for more than twenty years in the printing business, changing careers in 2008 to work in the banking business. In February, 2011 he was hired as the Director of Community Sharing in Cottage Grove. In his current position he has been able to utilize his leadership training, board experience and budgeting background to carry the organization into the future.

Councilor Fleck's term expires December 31, 2026.
