The City is seeking applications for three open positions on the City of Cottage Grove Budget Committee. The applicants are sought to serve three (3) year terms, expiring December 31, 2022. The Budget Committee reviews the City's financial plans and policies, including the annual budget. The 14 member Committee is comprised of the Mayor and six elected City Councilors and seven members from the community.
Appointed by the City Council, each of the Committee's seven community members must live in the City limits and be a registered voter. Meetings are typically held between April and June, but the Committee may also meet on an "as needed" basis.
The deadline for receiving applications is January 17, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. For further information please contact the Finance Director, at 541-942-3346.
