Budget Committee Meeting and Public Hearing
Calendar Date:
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Cottage Grove, Lane County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 will be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 400 Main Street. The meeting will take place on the 10th day of May 2016 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 400 Main Street, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The meeting will also include a public hearing to discuss possible uses of state revenue sharing funds. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
After the Budget Message has been delivered, and the presentation of the Budget has been made, the Budget Committee will be recessed until May 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm.
