Sealed bids will be received by the City of Cottage Grove, in the Office of Public Works, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, for the construction of the 1073 COMMUNITY CENTER ROOF REPAIRS project and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. Bid proposals received after the date and time fixed for opening will not be considered. No electronic or facsimile submittals will be accepted.
The project generally consists of the following:
- Coordinate with asbestos abatement contractor for all roofing and insulation within interior 3 feet of parapet wall.
- Install approximately 23,663SF of new 80 mil TPO or PVC membrane roofing system with R30 insulation all covered by a 30 year warranty.
- Replace all roof drains and adjust mechanical and HVAC utilities.

The works include all materials, labor, and other requirements as outlined in the Contract Documents or inferred by the Contract Documents, necessary to complete the project.
To be eligible to Bid and be listed on the plan holders list, Bidders must download Bidding Documents and/or purchase them from the City of Cottage Grove. A mandatory pre-bid will be held for this project on Thursday, December 16th, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Center located at the front doors at 700 East Gibbs, Cottage Grove, OR 97424.
Bidders must be pre-qualified with the City of Cottage Grove in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) Chapter 279C.430 by submitting either a completed City of Cottage Grove Prequalification form or an Oregon Department of Transportation form on or before 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 31, 2021. Bidders must be prequalified in Roofing Construction. City of Cottage Grove Prequalification forms are available at 400 East Main Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon 97424.
Notice is hereby given that this contract is for a Public Work, subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
All bids must be sealed and plainly marked on the outside showing the name of the bidder, project name, the date and time of bid opening, the words "sealed bid", and addressed to
