Council Vacancy - Ward 4
Councilor Amy Slay has submitted a letter of resignation that will be effective February 28, 2018. As a result the City Council is taking applications until Monday, March 5, 2108 from anyone interested in filling the vacancy.
Applicants must be:
- a registered voter,
- reside within the City for at least one year before appointment, and
- reside in Ward 4 (see the ward map for the ward description).
The term for this position runs from the date of appointment until the next general election, November 6, 2018. The remaining two years of the position will be filled by the candidate elected at the November 6th election.
Applications forms are available at City Hall from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, or by downloading the form below.
The deadline to apply is March 5, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
Interviews will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018. Please submit completed applications to City Recorder, Trudy Borrevik at City Hall.
