The Yard of the Week Program
The Yard of the Week program was established in June, 1998 to recognize those within the community that take pride in the appearance of their yard and do their part to beautify the community. The program will run annually from the beginning of May to the end of September. Yards will be selected each week from nominations received. To nominate a yard for Yard of the Week:
- You can call the City Hall (942-5501) or Chamber of Commerce (942-2411), or
- Write a letter to the City or Chamber of Commerce, or
- Come to the City Hall or Chamber Offices, or
- Email the City Manager or Chamber of Commerce.
All single family residences within the City of Cottage Grove are eligible for the program.
Recipients of
the Yard of
the Week award will be given a credit for a free month of water from
the City
and a gift certificate from a local Chamber of Commerce Business.
