Yard of the Week
The
Yard of the Week program was established in June, 1998 to recognize
those within the community that take pride in the appearance of their
yard and do their part to beautify the community.
The program will run annually from the beginning of May to the end of
September. Yards will be selected each week from nominations received.
To nominate a yard for Yard of the Week:
All
single family residences within the City of Cottage Grove are eligible
for the program. To encourage more participation and recognize
more homes within the community, all recipients of the Yard of the Week
must wait two years before receiving the award again.
Recipients of the Yard of the Week award will be given a credit for a
free month of water from the City and a gift certificate from the
Chamber of Commerce good at local businesses.
