The City of Cottage Grove is planning to bid and contract $800,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding in the next two months.

 

PROJECT: 

The project involves the renovation/remodel of 1345 Birch Avenue, Cottage Grove, for use by South Lane Mental Health.

 

TIMELINE:

The work will need to be done no later than June 2010. Variable work shifts and weekends may be required to accommodate this work.

 

SOURCE OF FUNDS:

Work under this contract will be funded in part with federal grant funds from the Oregon Community Development Block Grant program.

 

SELECTION PROCESS:

If you are interested in participating in the contractor bidding and selection process, fill out the Community Development Block Grant Contractor Pre-qualification Template and email it to: planning@cottagegrove.org. Not all responding contractors will be invited to participate in the project selection process. Respond by Monday, June 8, 2009, 4pm to receive consideration.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bidders shall be qualified to perform the specified work. In order to be considered for award of this contract work bidders must have demonstrated experience in the performance of commercial building remodels. Prior to an award of the work, the successful bidder’s experience shall be documented by submitting a list of references for similar, satisfactorily completed commercial building remodels.
