The following period of time, not to exceed 30 minutes without Council approval, is the time provided for persons in the audience to speak to the Council on any items of City business which appear on this agenda.  To make a comment the person must be acknowledged by the presiding office. Before making any comments the person must state their name and address for the record. Except with Council approval comments shall be limited to five (5) minutes per person.  Each person may only speak once on any one subject. No discussion, testimony or evidence is allowed on items involving appeals of Planning Commission decisions or items that are scheduled for a Public Hearing or involving deliberations for which a public hearing has been closed.  All comments are to be made to the presiding officer and shall not be made directly to any Councilor, staff or other person.

Persons desiring to speak to the Council on items not on the agenda shall do so under item 11, Public Comment on Items Not on the Agenda.

A.    SOUTH LANE SCHOOL DISTRICT – CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP 5-08) FOR BASEBALL FIELD AT COTTAGE GROVE HIGH SCHOOL.  Applicant is seeking permission to construct a baseball field on a vacant field behind the Cottage Grove High School on South R Street (Map No. 20-03-32; Tax Lot No. 601)

 

B.    SOUTH LANE MENTAL HEALTH – CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP 6-08) FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AT 1345 BIRCH AVENUE.  Applicant is seeking permission to operate a mental health service over 2,000 square feet at 1345 Birch Avenue (Map No. 20-03-29-41; Tax Lot No. 2000)

 

C.    CITY OF COTTAGE GROVE – DEVELOPMENT CODE TEXT AMENDMENT (DCTA 1-08) TO CORRECT SCRIVENER’S ERRORS IN TITLE 14.  Applicant is seeking to amend Title 14 Development Code to correct scrivener’s errors (typing mistakes) in newly adopted Title 14 Development Code
